#3 to my 10 Have To’s

beautiful

Now who would not want to come home to this at night? Let alone coming home to a good lookin’ contagiously loving husband and adorable lil’ munchkins. Living in a house where you have to stop and look at its originality and beauty before even entering is what I call a HOME! I think a home should mirror the people who live in it. Like this one; smart, creative, inviting, loving, comfortable and classy. Yep, that about does it. It just looks like the kind of home you could have dinner in. Ha ha. Honestly, it centers down to DINNER> the time where you spend your possibly only moment together as a family; sharing stories from the demanding crunch that involves our daily obligations and trials. I can see this home representing an achievable peace. A get away. A hope for tomorrow. And inside each room filled with its own theme; whether to relax, to excite, to explore, to develop, or of course… to eat. :) I have to say that I would much rather have my house propped back in the backyard of the woods. With a long winding road preserved by trees that cascade succoring shadows to greet you. Of course there will be a garden, ponds, and animals roaming about. The inside of my house has got to be able to fulfill me just as much as the outside. My porch would be bigger than the one in the picture and it would have a porch swing for nights of roaring thunder and tickling rain. Also, a balcony would be in the back of the house connected to the master bedroom. I want my own private outlet to my beautiful backyard. I think balconies in the front of the house is impersonal and tacky. A balcony should serve its own personal purpose. I hope we all get the chance to live in our own DREAM HOME at some point. Now that’s the American Dream!
